Dada Masilo’s The Sacrifice – Theatre Royal

This UK premiere of The Sacrifice is brought to the North East by Dada Masilo, who wowed critics and audiences with her re-imagining of Giselle in 2019.

The show is inspired by The Rite of Spring, combining the European heritage of this monumental piece of music with the uniquely rhythmic and expressive movements of ‘Tswana’, the traditional dance of Botswana.

Be blown away by this exhilarating performance and the incredible dancers who transport you through a journey of emotions.
