From the Painter’s Soul – South Shields Museum & Art Gallery

Drawing inspiration from Van Gogh’s quote ‘Paintings have a life of their own that derives from the painter’s soul’, this exhibition displays a collection of work that reflects the power of the artist’s mind.

The featured art varies from sketchbook drawings to more well-known paintings in the art world, so there is plenty to admire.

In all of these pieces, you’ll be able to get a glimpse into the artist’s mind and get a feel for the poetry that resided in there.
