Larry Achiampong: Wayfinder – Baltic

This is the first major solo exhibition by British-Ghanaian artist Larry Achiampong, who works in film, sculpture, installation, sound, collage, music and performance.

Achiampong draws inspiration from his heritage to explore topics like class, gender, and the intersection between pop culture and the residues of colonisation.

The exhibition will include a¬†feature-length film¬†Wayfinder (2022), which follows a girl’s journey across England and the people she encounters.
