Looking to the Light – South Shields Museum & Art Gallery

In this unique exhibition, you’ll get to experience more than 200 photographic images produced by members of the South Shields Photographic Society and South Shields Digital Group.

There will be a range of topics, from landscape and wildlife to architecture, fashion and personal portraits.

A wonderful exhibition, whether you’re a photography lover or just want to see some intriguing work.

The Girlie Show – The Cluny

Old painting of William Wailes, the man who bought the Saltwell Estate in Gateshead and developed Saltwell Park. He is depicted in a brown suit and trousers with a black waistcoat and collar underneath. He sits beside a window and leans one hand against an open book, pen in hand.
