MAD(E) – Arts Centre Washington

MAD(E) is an exhilarating tale of life, death, and everything in between.

Three men – existing under a hostile environment – carry their worlds in an urn, a bivvy bag and soil from the Motherland, dodging a system that engulfs and traumatises them. Can Beira, a mythical female shapeshifter, help them still the glitch in their broken minds?

A combination of physical theatre and poetry, this passionate and unique performance shines a light on masculinity and men’s mental health.
