Refuge – Arts Centre Washington

This new play follows three unrelated people in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic: Tommy, an old war veteran; Sky a survivor of domestic violence, and Steve, a homeless young man.

As their interactions progress, we learn that they have a lot more in common than any of them originally believed.

Refuge is set around the War Memorial of Tommy in Seaham, County Durham, and draws inspiration from this imagery to create a moving story.
