Stuart Buchanan – Biscuit Factory

This exhibition showcases the work of Stuart Buchanan, a leading artist in the contemporary Scottish arts scene.

Working with oils, Steve’s paintings are richly textured and feature colourful, often ambiguous landscapes. They also depict imagined or anonymous figures in a contemplative state.

Across his work, you’ll find the recurring theme of solitude – not to imply loneliness, but as a celebration of peace and serenity.
