The Ouseburn Festival 2023

If you’re wanting a great time from morning ‘til night – whether you’re younger or older, heading out with kids or friends – The Ouseburn Festival has got you covered.

A Valley-wide celebration of everything that makes this nook of Newcastle the city’s cultural quarter, here you’ll find live music across popular venues like The Cluny, The Cumberland Arms and The Tyne Bar, workshops on everything from pottery and African dancing to circus skills, and quirky music-markets selling vintage clothes, records, graphic artwork and one-of-a-kind homeware.

And that’s not nearly all. Kids can be entertained with live story times, face painting, monster making, climbing walls and costume creating; they can meet ponies at the nearby stables, or head out on boat trips with their grown-ups.

Plus, everyone can get involved with taster tours, behind-the-scenes access to artists’ studios, pop-up events and taproom takeovers.
