Chair covers, candles, flowers – there’s so much to think about when planning a wedding.

That’s why Northumberland wedding venue Derwent Manor Hotel has just launched its Décor Package – and to celebrate, they’re offering High Life North readers a 50% discount by quoting HIGH LIFE on booking.

THE VENUE AND GROUNDS

Set in Allensford, within 20 acres of Northumberland countryside, Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel is just 30 minutes from Newcastle and Durham.

With three different function suites, they can accommodate wedding parties with up to 250 guests – and have accommodation on site including 50 bedrooms, six luxury suites and four boutique cottages.

The Allensford Suite (pictured)

With views for days across the Pennine valley, The Allensford Suite can hold up to 180 guests and has everything you need in one place – including a private bar, stage and dancefloor.

With a huge wall of windows letting in natural light, this suite is beautiful – especially when decorated with the White Rose and Gypsophilia from the décor package. Imagine the show-stopping photographs.

The Garden Room

For intimate weddings or celebrations with up to 60 daytime guests, The Garden Room is set alongside a gorgeous Orangery – perfect for a drinks reception. On warmer days, you can also use the balcony and outdoor terrace to celebrate.

The Grand Hall

The largest of Derwent Manor’s function suites, The Grand Hall can hold up to 250 guests.

Our favourite part? You can enjoy your drinks reception in the Gallery Bar on the mezzanine level which overlooks the Grand Hall and the huge Chandelier.

There’s also a private bar and central dancefloor for when the party starts.

For The Grand Hall, you can choose additional decorations from the décor package including aisle flowers with vases and floating candles, as well as a beautiful cream aisle runner for your grand entrance.
