About Laura Kingston

Laura is the Founder and Editor of High Life North. She had the idea to set up an exclusively digital women’s magazine after feeling there was a gap in the market in the North East. With over 10 years of experience in marketing and PR, Laura had a very clear idea of HLN’s brand values from the start and has ensured we’ve stayed true to them throughout our growth journey.

She started from scratch at her kitchen table back in August 2019 and since then, has grown a readership of 36,000 North East women every month and a community of like-minded businesses and makers in the region.

But she’s not stopping there. Laura has plans to grow HLN across the North of England. Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh.
