Hidden on the rooftop of the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, SIX Baltic is an elevated dining haven with breathtaking panoramic views of Newcastle and Gateshead’s skyline.

SIX Baltic, it’s all about style, sophistication and an unrivalled dining experience all the air of exclusivity and glamour that rooftop dining brings. But although offering a fine dining service and luxurious ambience, SIX is anything but stuffy. You can expect a warm, relaxed and intimate gastronomic adventure without the expensive price tag.

We’re talking a two-course lunch menu for £25 and a three-course early evening menu for £30 – but more about that later…

LUNCH AND EARLY EVENING INDULGENCE

Alongside the sensational cityscape views, SIX Baltic‘s refined menu of modern British bistro dishes is what has us coming back time and again.

Chris Hall has recently joined SIX Baltic’s talented kitchen team as Head Chef whose impressive repertoire brings a wealth of experience brings experience and knowledge into the kitchen. Plus, the team can meet all dietary requirements, so there’s no need to worry about catering for all your guests.

Let’s delve into the exquisite offerings of SIX’s lunch and early evening fine dining menu, available from 12pm to 2pm and 5:30pm to 6:30pm, every Wednesday through Saturday. Feast your eyes on a choice of two courses for just £25 or three courses for only £30.

This early bird menu reflects the passion for fresh, seasonal and local produce here and makes fine dining more affordable. One that champions a commitment to being environmentally conscious, which remains at the heart of everything the team at SIX Baltic do.

And of course, you want to know what’s on the menu. With a monthly-changing menu, every early bird dining experience at SIX Baltic is different with every visit.

For October, expect tantalizing dishes such as gochujang glazed belly pork with broccoli and compressed apples, paving the way for a succulent confit duck leg paired with lentil cassoulet, honey’d parsnip puree and mustard jus. Finish your meal on a sweet note with a chocolate slice, honeycomb, passion fruit gel with a side of salted caramel ice cream.
