FIREWORKS AT THE FORT

Thursday 2nd November

Where: Segedunum Roman Fort and Museum, Buddle St, Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne NE28 6HR

When: Gates open from 4pm; display starts at 6.30pm

Price: Free

The spectacular, free annual fireworks display returns to Segedunum Roman Fort, with free entry to the museum from 4pm too – where all ages can enjoy Bonfire Night crafts before the big event.

BLUE FLAMES FIREWORK DISPLAY

Sunday 5th November

Where: Blue Flames Sporting Club, Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne NE12 9SF

When: Gates open from 4.30pm; display starts at 7pm

Price: £7.50

Street food stalls, fairground rides and all three of their bars open for refreshments makes the annual Blue Flames fireworks display one of the most popular events in the Newcastle Bonfire Night schedule.

OUTDOOR RIDES & FIREWORKS DISPLAY

Sunday 5th November

Where: Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, Sea Road, South Shields NE33 2LD

When: Gates open from 12pm; first display starts at 6.30pm; second at 8pm

Price: Free

South Tyneside Council are planning to out-do themselves once again, bringing two spectacular firework displays this weekend to South Shields seafront – all against a backdrop of feel-good tunes.

Sunday 5th November

Where: Sutherland Park, Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne NE7 7SY

When: Gates open from 5.30pm; display starts at 7pm

Novos Rugby Club is participating in Newcastle Bonfire Night once again, hosting its annual event in support of The Chronicle Sunshine Fund, which helps children with disabilities. Expect plenty of bevs and tasty scran with your sparklers.

Friday 3rd November

Where: Tynemouth Cricket Club, Preston Avenue, North Shields NE30 2BE

Tynemouth Cricket Club are readying themselves for another explosive night as their much-loved fireworks display returns, bringing fairground rides, street food and a fully stocked bar too.

NEWCASTLE ROUND TABLE FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA 2023

Saturday 4th November

Where: Gosforth Sports Association, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 2NH

When: Gates open from 5pm; display starts at 7pm

Price: £7.00

Boasting 120 effects each minute, alongside refreshments and other attractions, this is said to be the largest and one of the longest-running firework displays this weekend. All profits go to local charities and good causes.
