Christmas is coming at Three Mile, Gosforth…

  • Advertisement Feature

From the return of the giant reindeer to a new festive afternoon tea and a family Christmas light switch-on, Christmas is well and truly coming to Gosforth.

The giant lit-up reindeer at Three Mile is Gosforth has already become an iconic local landmark at Christmas.

A community hub for Gosforth residents and families across the North East, Three Mile has a 2023 Christmas calendar that’s bigger than ever before…

17th November, 5pm

With live music, hot chocolate, mulled wine and carols from Gosforth Parish Choir – the Christmas light switch-on at Three Mile this year looks set to be a cracker…

The now-iconic giant reindeer is back for its third year – keep an eye on Three Mile’s social media page as they are looking for nominations for a local child to press the big red button to light him up and kick off the celebrations.

Added bonus – Pizza Dough Co will be running its ‘feed the family’ offer, so you can pick up two regular pizzas, two kids pizzas and four soft drinks for just £25.

No need to book tickets, just turn up and have fun.

17th November, 5-7pm

For the first time, Three Mile is hosting a Christmas market alongside the Christmas light switch on this year.

Shop festive offerings from a range of local makers including:

  • Beauty gift sets from City Retreat
  • Tasty treats from dog bakery Mammy’s Biscuits
  • Christmas cards from Not2shabby
  • Homemade chocolate and confectionary from Awesome Chocolates
  • Festive cakes and bakes from The Cakery
  • Jams, chutneys and conserves from Gillian’s Jams
  • Children’s books from Elaina Moon

The only thing better than afternoon tea, is a festive afternoon tea (in our humble opinion).
