THE COCKTAILS

Let’s talk cocktails first, because who doesn’t love a good ol’ tipple? Cake Stories has just launched their spring cocktail menu, and guess what? You can get two cheeky cocktails for just £12.50. Yep, you heard right.

Expect to see popular Cake Stories classics, alongside some fresh and delicious new additions, from Margaritas to Ginger and Basil Brambles perfect for sipping in the sun. Whether you’re into Espresso Martinis, Mint Mojitos or Aperol Spritzes, they’ve got something to tickle your fancy.

Oh, and if you’re not a cocktail person, fear not. There’s a Prosecco and a whole range of teas and coffees to wash your afternoon tea down with.

THE FOOD

But let’s not forget the main event – the food. Cake Stories takes the traditional afternoon tea and gives it a funky twist. Say goodbye to cucumber sandwiches and hello to smoked salmon bagels with cream cheese and pickles, chicken club sandwiches and onion bhaji sarnies. It’s like a flavour explosion in your mouth.

Once you’ve inhaled the savoury delights, it’s time for scones. And let us tell you, these aren’t just any scones. We’re talking traditional fruit scones with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry jam. But here’s the real question: jam or cream first? You decide. Plus, there are savoury cheese scones with a unique twist of tomato chutney and cream cheese.

And now, for the pièce de résistance – the cakes. Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Caramel Smash Cake and a Lemon and White Chocolate Blondie are among some of their popular flavours. You will be able to choose from a selection of cakes and traybakes available in store that day upon arrival.

Speaking of booking, it’s super easy. Just give them a ring 24 hours in advance, or if you’re a bit last-minute, they might still be able to squeeze you in. A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot.
