If you need a wellness boost, one of these North East wellness retreats could be just the thing to help you feel rested, relaxed, rejuvenated and nourished.

Yorkshire Wellness Retreat

These luxurious retreats are the ultimate boost to your wellbeing. Hosted by local yoga teacher and Wellness Space owner, Claire Lormor, they’re the perfect way to practice yoga, socialise and eat well.

This retreat is held at a gorgeous house in Appleton-le-Moors in the North Yorkshire Moors. The area is known for its incredible scenery, picturesque walks and that priceless sense of peace and calm. There are a range of room options, but hurry as the retreats always fill up fast.

Ramside Retreat Days

Wellness Space has teamed up with Ramside Hotel and Spa to create the perfect one-day retreat, packed with goodness – from relaxing yoga and spa treatments to delicious food.

The day starts at 11.00am and includes spa access, a treatment, lunch, yin yoga session and more before finishing at 6.00pm. This is the perfect way to get that retreat feeling without having to use up that precious annual leave.

Sound and Meditation Retreat at Shepherd’s Dene, Northumberland

This relaxing and healing retreat is perfect for anyone looking to try sound healing for the first time. Reiki practitioner, Fiona, will lead you through a series of sessions including colour healing, counselling and sound baths.

3 Day Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Nidra Retreat, York

When: 28th-30th July 2024

Hosted at the beautiful Dieghton Lodge this is a idyllic retreat for any yoga lover. The three-day retreat includes seven yoga classes, time to relax and all meals and snacks.

There is also spare time to explore York or simply unwind, making this the perfect getaway whether going with your yogi friends or fancying a solo break.

Yoga teacher Debbie Jenkins will be guiding all guests through the yoga classes. Debbie is a trained personal trainer and yoga teacher. She has had her own yoga and fitness studio since 2011.

Escape to the Sea Retreat, North Yorkshire Coast

This three-night retreat will take you to beautiful Saltburn-by-the-Sea for a combination of supervised sea swimming, hiking and yoga. Delivered by the team at Pretty Gritty, everyone is welcome to enjoy this retreat which can be adapted for all levels.
