Musical Celebration of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 

Friday 27th May 2022

Where: Hexham Abbey, Beaumont Street, Hexham NE46 3NB

When: Doors open at 6pm and the performance starts at 7pm

Price: £15

Hexham Abbey is hosting a magical musical evening fit for a queen with some very special guests, including former long-distance runner, athletics commentator and Great North Run founder Sir Brendan Foster, who will be presenting the show. All the proceeds will be donated to the British Red Cross and The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.



Jubilee Street Party Trail

Saturday 28th May – Sunday 5th June 2022

Where: Raby Castle, Staindrop, Darlington DL2 3AH

The majestic Raby Castle is celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in style with their street party themed trail for little explorers. Make a day of it with Raby’s delicious picnic boxes – which can be pre-ordered in advance and feature only the best of British cuisine, including a selection of scrumptious sandwiches, freshly baked fruit with Cornish clotted cream and a Victoria sponge.



Arthur’s Jubilee Afternoon Tea

Enjoy a sparkling cocktail on arrival inspired by Her Majesty’s favourite tipple, tuck into a regal banquet of savoury delights and the very finest patisserie, all whilst you listen out for the dulcet tones of a live playhouse trio with a pianist, drums and cello. Just for Women

Just For Women Centre has created a showstopper of an exhibition displaying a collection of artwork and crafts with a royal theme, produced by the women from their centre which reflects on the world and how it has changed during the last 70 years. Plus, while you’re there, help yourself to a spot of cream tea, delicate finger sandwiches, delicious cakes, homemade scones and unlimited tea or coffee.



Jubilee Weekend Tipsy Tacos Bottomless Brunch

Thursday 2nd – Friday 4th June 2022

Raise a toast to Her Majesty the Queen with 90 minutes of unlimited Sol, rosé, sangria, frozen margaritas or prosecco. Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

A public Jubilee lunch will be taking place with entertainment including live music, arts and crafts activities and delicious food and drink. The little ones in your life can take advantage of a bouncy castle and face paint, while a dressing up competition will also see prizes for the best dressed king and queen.



Seaton Sluice Jubilee Family Fun Day

Whatever your age, this family fun day has something for everyone to enjoy – all without breaking the bank. Expect bouncy castles, climbing wall frames, a magician, stalls, bingo, food, and make sure you bring your own picnic. Why not dress up in red, white and blue for the occasion, too?



The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Jesmond Dene House is hosting a traditionally British, regal afternoon tea in The Great Hall, complete with live music. With a glass of Pimms on arrival, refillable tea served in bone China and three-tiered stands overflowing with cakes, dainty fi­nger sandwiches and their signature freshly baked warm scones, celebrate this milestone like the members of the royal family would.
