Immune boosting carrot, ginger and orange smoothie

Carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A (aids immunity, supports skin and eye health), ginger is a great anti-inflammatory, and oranges are packed full of Vitamin C (helps protect your cells and keep them healthy).
The perfect recipe for when you’re feeling under the weather.

Serves: 2

 

INGREDIENTS

3 large oranges, peeled

2 medium carrots, peeled and roughly chopped

1 inch ginger, peeled

1 & ½ cup water cold or room temperature depending on preference

1 tablespoon honey optional

 

METHOD

Place all the ingredients listed above in that order in your blender.

Blend for 1-2 minutes or until smooth.

Serve and enjoy!
