Dates are always important for keeping a relationship alive, quality time for just the two of you without any distractions. But it can be hard to come up with unique date ideas.

As always, we’ve got you covered, we’ve rounded up date ideas in Newcastle and beyond.

But with the cost of living crisis, it can be rather expensive to go out. With taxi fares going up following the clean air zone restrictions and to save one of you being the designated driver, have you ever thought about using the Metro to travel to your next date?

Well, if not, let us tell you you’re missing a trick. From being affordable to avoiding traffic jams and being a quick, reliable service (every 12 mins to be exact), have a stress-free journey to and from your date on the Metro.

And we recommend getting a Metro Pop PAYG card as it’s the most cost-effective way to get around with travel cheaper than single and day tickets and capped to ensure you never pay too much – thank us later.
