Sunderland Restaurant Week is back on the menu from Saturday 16th – Sunday 24th September.
The city’s popular event spotlights the best restaurants Sunderland has to offer – allowing eateries to show off their menus whilst giving foodies an unrivalled opportunity to try different cuisines at affordable prices.
This year, Sunderland Restaurant Week are helping us dine out in a great range of cafés and restaurants for as little as £10, £15 and £20 per person.
And with an incredible line-up of 43 restaurants in Sunderland participating, you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to book your tables.

The first of the restaurants in Sunderland to dedicate itself to Vietnamese cuisine, Pho 179 offers fresh, fragrant and, above all else, authentic South-East Asian food that you just don’t find anywhere else in the city.

Stylish family restaurant Tarantino’s specialise in lobster and steaks, two things you wouldn’t normally find are included on a Sunderland Restaurant Week menu. But here they are – don’t miss out.

GRINDER COFFEE CO

Artisan coffee is undoubtedly the name of the game in this urban café, although their baked treats (lovingly made by expert baker, Joyce), really sets Grinder apart from other Sunderland coffee shops.

SIX PIER POINT

This elegant charcuterie-style restaurant and wine bar is perched right on Roker beach front – making it an unbeatable destination for your next wine night with the girls.

Quirky Indian joint My Delhi is one of the most flavoursome restaurants in Sunderland. Better still, all their dishes are nut-free and their meat is Halal – meaning everyone can tuck in.
