From pizza nights to wholesome half-term activities – the rain won’t stop us having another great week in the North East.

PIZZA NIGHT AT SANDS OF TYNE

One of our favourite neighbourhood coffee shops is hosting its first collab with 505 Pizzeria on Saturday night promising good vibes, excellent craic and great pizza. You can also pop along to take away.

Where: WWT Washington Wetland Centre, Washington

The perfect half term activity for little nature enthusiasts. Washington Wetland Centre is hosting a range of daily activities from crafts to hide building, pond dipping and birdwatching. Check out the website for their full schedule of fresh air and fun.

YEVONDE: LIFE AND COLOUR

Where: Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle

Check out this exhibition at Laing Art Gallery showcasing the ground-breaking work of 20th century British photographer, Yevonde – the first person in Britain to exhibit colour photographs. Throughout her 60-year career, her portraits include some of the most famous faces of the time, including George Bernard Shaw, Vivien Leigh, John Gielgud, and Princess Alexandra.

Chris and Becca Green are mixologists who go by the name of Hummingbird. They’ll be whipping up tea-inspired cocktails at the latest in the series of February takeovers at Estate Tea Co. every Monday night in February. Gyozas will be available if you get peckish, and your ticket price includes a welcome drink.

MINDFUL MEETS AT ARLO – WEDNESDAY WELLNESS BRUNCH
