HLN x Oxygen London | Lust List Takeover

Fashion brand Oxygen London was created by North East Girl, Georgia in 2015. After graduating from University she felt the desire to design her own collection in womenswear taking inspiration from the catwalks, adding her own style & influence to each piece. Due to fast fashion, Oxygen London decided to stop designing their own collections and focus on bringing new styles little and often, keeping up to date with all current trends.

We caught up with Georgia to find out more about Oxygen London and her latest collaboration with one of HLN’s favourite influencers, Alex Simpson.

Tell us about Oxygen London?

We believe in bringing extra luxury and elegance to the brand in a simple way, with extra detail making that outfit even more unique. All of our pieces are photographed and styled by us, which means all of the images shown on the website let us show off the quality of the outfits and how we would style them too. All accessories, bags and footwear are handpicked by our in-house buyer to ensure our customers get the best quality. It can be hard buying items like this online so we want to provide consistent quality to our customers so they can put their trust in us and know when buying from Oxygen London, your parcels will never disappoint when they arrive. If you’re wondering why Oxygen London is called “Oxygen London”, when we are based at the other end of the country, it’s simply just because “Oxygen Sunderland” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. London is simply in the name to represent being a British brand, and as for Oxygen, that was originally an anagram spelt a little different but we loved how simple “Oxygen” was. It made sense for us as a business name as we simply can’t live without it.

The new AW20 collection is in collaboration with influencer Alex Simpson. We slid into her DMs to find out how she feels about seeing it all come to life…

“I’m absolutely over the moon and extremely excited to have the opportunity to do my first full collaboration with Oxygen London. Oxygen are a brand I’ve worked with for a while now, as well as being a fellow North East brand and I have always loved the quality of their clothes.” – Alex Simpson

The perfect outfit for festive drinks in your bubble

This top is a fav of our Editor Laura. The faux feathers add a luxe feel and the length is perfect to wear with high-waisted leggings, jeans or these split front trousers. Speaking of slit-front trousers – this isn’t a trend that’s really had a chance to see the light of day this year with us all stuck indoors. But we think it’s a trend that’s here to stay for a little longer, so pick up a pair of these Bella Trousers as an affordable way to try the trend. They come in camel and black…we’ll have one of each please, Santa.

The sophisticated party combo (even if it is just to dance in your kitchen)

The main thing we love about the Oxygen London x Alex Simpson collab? How easy it is to mix and match the items. This Amelia dress comes in three colours – black, camel and white – making it super easy to pair with the different blazers and coats in the range.

We think the black dress would look gorge with the longer line Emmie Blazer Coat – keeping it classy and sophisticated.
