The Barre

We can only dream of having those long, sculpted dancers’ legs… But this inclusive fitness studio which, back in 2009, was the UK’s first dedicated Barre studio, is our next best thing to achieving that goal.

With workouts designed to strengthen, stretch and tone using training methods used by dancers, The Barre offer 30, 45 and 60-minute classes both in their purpose-built studio and online so you can work out in the comfort of your home. Rumour has it that you’ll see changes in your body really quickly from these workouts… well, there’s only one way to find out, right?

Shilling & Black

It’s safe to say that we’re feeling rather sluggish after Christmas, but we can guarantee there’s nothing that feels better than revitalising our bodies and minds at Shilling & Black with their wide variety of movement classes, all based on yoga, Pilates, barre and dance.

Slow things down with Slow Flow Yoga class and release all the tension in your body while moving mindfully with sequences that create a cooling flow of movement. Or, if you want to start the year with a little more energy, spread some happiness and break out into dance in a Choroe 45 class. After all, who doesn’t love a good ol’ boogie?
