The 1823 Spinning Block Hotel is the lovingly restored conversion of the oldest building within the Holmes Mill site.

A boutique bolthole with 39 individually-designed bedrooms, the best of local food and drink and an awe-inspiring setting that honours Lancashire’s rich industrial heritage, right in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

Be it a getaway with the girls or a family summer holiday, a romantic retreat or a solo staycation, The Spinning Block has a whole host of accommodation options available:

The Penthouse

Reigning supreme at the top of the Spinning Block tower is the exquisite Penthouse. A country hideaway with an urban living feel, give yourself the VIP treatment with a soak in the in-room bathtub while looking out at the rolling countryside of Clitheroe and beyond.

The Suites

Two luxury suites are located within the original hoist tower here and offer a spacious, open-plan layout with an elegantly-furnished seating area. Room 19 is perfect for a superior couple’s getaway with its generous king-sized bed, while the two-bedroomed Room 38 is better suited to family getaways or staycations with friends.

The Superior Double

This dual-aspect room has views for days thanks to its prime position in the hoist tower. And with a king-sized bed, plenty of storage and a Scandi-styled bathroom with walk-in monsoon shower, makes for the most sumptuous settings to enjoy a romantic retreat to remember.

The Family Rooms

The Spinning Block Hotel boasts two family rooms, both comprising of stylish double and twin beds across two connected bedrooms. So, in other words, both are an ideal base from which to enjoy some family adventures across Ribble Valley or a girls’ getaway with all the trimmings.

The Classic Double

The remaining rooms in The Spinning Block are Classic Doubles, with each one individually designed and perfectly formed with comfort first and foremost in mind. (The walk-in monsoon showers in each are a particular highlight).
