Serving an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and an international speciality buffet dinner which includes everything from burgers to BBQ, Mediterranean to Italian and the Far East, tuck into the finest dishes from overseas that are perfect for every palette.

Coffee Crew Café

We all need a little pick-me-up when we’re heading off on holiday, and Coffee Crew not only gives us our caffeine hit but also serves some scrumptious sweet treats that are perfect for fueling our adventures in Amsterdam. Why not wash them down with your favourite, freshly-brewed Starbucks beverage – whether that be a cappuccino, latte, tea, hot chocolate or their famous Frappuccino?

Navigators Pub

If you’re all about those chilled, cosy pub feels, this onboard pub is perfect for you. Sit back and listen to incredible live music as you sip on a chilled world beer, refreshing glass of wine or a cheeky cocktail. This feel-good bar gives you those home-away-from-home vibes, which are sure to help make your journey smooth sailing.

Sky Bar

With stunning sea views and sunshine beaming down, the rooftop Sky Bar is a superb place to sit with friends and family to get your holiday started. Enjoy the fresh sea air with a perfectly pulled pint or a refreshing glass of wine. All hands are on deck on a sunny day at the Sky Bar with entertainment in the form of live music and even a BBQ.

Compass Bar

In a lavish, laidback lounge setting, the Compass Bar is a special spot to sit back and relax while watching the world go by. With chilled background music and a zen atmosphere, where better to have a catch up over a beer, glass of wine or a good ol’ G and T?

Or, if you want to sip on something new, DFDS have really gone overboard with their Wine and Whisky Tasting experiences. Their skilled staff will impart their knowledge to teach you more about your favourite tipples, all while you enjoy a sip or two yourself – what better way to kick start your holiday?

Columbus Club

Looking for a party atmosphere? (You’re on holiday, of course you are). The Columbus Club really rocks the boat. It’s the largest bar onboard and the main venue for live music, entertainment and, of course, a great selection of delicious drinks, including an extensive cocktail menu.

Why not start your evening with a game of bingo or a music quiz? You may be lucky and win a bottle of bubbly or vouchers to spend in the bar. Then, enjoy live performances from talented bands before a DJ transforms the bar into a nightclub where you can dance the night away.

Duty-Free Shopping

Who doesn’t love doing a spot of duty-free shopping when they’re heading off on holiday? Well, you’re in luck – because the DFDS doesn’t just have any old duty-free shop. The on-board shopping here is extensive to say the least, with everything you could possibly imagine under one roof.

Better yet, you can save up to 50% versus the high street on great products such as premium perfumes, cosmetics and alcohol. And the very best part? You have unlimited baggage just waiting to be filled up. Well, it would be rude not to, wouldn’t it?

Wildlife Watching with ORCA

Learn the ropes of wildlife watching on the DFDS King Seaways ship, where you’ll find out more about marine wildlife and spot dolphins and whales during your crossing. The skilled ocean conservationists from the whale and dolphin conservation charity ORCA will be on board between March and September to take you on an exciting journey and explain all the wonders of the marine world.

Price: £8.50

If you love a movie night, then look no further. Catch the newest blockbusters and all-time classic movies in DFDS’ Cinema. Get gripped with action-packed adventures, laugh your head off at comedies and cry at the latest rom-coms, as six films are shown every evening. We can guarantee there’ll be something for the whole family to enjoy.

HLN TOP TIP: Buy tickets at the Guest Service Centre and buy your favourite cinema snacks, including popcorn, nachos and soft drinks, for that authentic movie experience.

Live Music Performances

There’s plenty to keep you entertained on your overnight voyage, to make sure you get your breakaway off to the best start possible. DFDS’ fantastic acoustic troubadour has a lengthy repertoire, with plenty of modern songs and classic favourites to suit everyone. You’ll find him in the Navigators Pub or in the Sky Bar where he’ll play all the best, most laidback tunes to help you relax and get into that holiday spirit.

Or, if you’re looking for something more upbeat, head to Columbus Club for live performances from bands playing classic and chart hits. As evening folds into the night, dance until the early hours with DFDS’ resident DJ.

Kids Entertainment

Keeping the little ones entertained during your travels can be tricky. But not on the DFDS ferry. With a dedicated soft play area, Jack’s Treasure Hunt (available to download on your phone) and Kids’ Club run by a children’s entertainer who hosts a range of fun activities – including visits from DFDS’ mascot, Jack the Pirate – you can relax and enjoy the peace while the kids enjoy plenty of fun.

Games Area

Whether you’re travelling with kids or you’re simply young at heart, DFDS’ Games Area will be sure to make your journey fly by. From air hockey to car racing games and slot machines to shooting simulators, there’s plenty for anyone to indulge their competitive spirit onboard.
