Booze inside pineapples and a unique bottomless brunch in Newcastle – Inside this new cocktail bar

If you haven’t heard about this newest hotspot, let us introduce you to Friki Tiki – your ticket to a tropical escape right in the heart of the city.

As you step inside Friki Tiki you’ll be whisked away to a beautiful paradise island. Flamingos, tiki totem figures, and even an eight-foot fibreglass shark greet you as you step inside.

It’s like stumbling into a scene from a classic beach movie, complete with surfboards, palm trees and pina coladas inside pineapples. And they’ve spared no expense in creating an atmosphere that screams ‘Tiki but with a touch of Friki.’

You’ll find this cocktail bar in Newcastle city centre, near the entrance of Grainger Market. And did you know Friki Tiki is the brainchild of the same owners of No28 upstairs?

What sets Friki Tiki apart isn’t just the whole vibe – it’s the drinks. Imagine sipping on a cocktail served inside a pineapple, garnished with mini umbrellas. It’s the kind of experience that’ll make you feel like you’re lounging on a Hawaiian beach – you had us at aloha.

As we all know No28 is one of our go-to spots for bottomless brunch in Newcastle, but now Friki Tiki have launched a new bottomless brunch menu which is set to make tidal waves.

The food

Forget your standard breakfast dishes – at Friki Tiki, they’re serving up a feast. Think house jambalaya, Hawaiian-inspired burgers, fish tacos, and more. And don’t worry, they’ve got options for you vegans and veggies too – so nobody misses out on the fun.

The drinks

But let’s talk about the drinks because that’s what we’re all really here for, right? At Friki Tiki’s bottomless brunch, you can choose from classic or rose prosecco, or get adventurous with a house rum punch, strawberry daiquiri slush, or pina colada slush – we’re obsessed!

When we say Friki Tiki’s bottomless brunch is set to level up the bottomless brunch game in Newcastle, here’s why. For just £35, you get 90 minutes of bottomless bliss, but if you’re feeling extra thirsty, you can upgrade to 120 minutes for just £42.

So, what are you waiting for? Whether you’re looking for a taste of the tropics without leaving Newcastle or fancy trying a new spot to bottomless brunch with your girl gang, Friki Tiki has got you covered.
